Nursing and ACP: A Centre of Excellence
The Open University is seeking to appoint a lecturer/senior lecturer in ACP/Nursing to join the School of Health Wellbeing and Social Care. Key responsibilities will include the delivery of the ACP and pre-registration nursing.
The successful applicants will contribute to teaching on a range of modules across our ACP and nursing programmes. There will be opportunity to teach across our many qualifications although it is primarily intended that appointee to Post 1 will focus on ACP provision, whilst Post 2 appointee will teach primarily to nursing provision.
The ideal candidates must demonstrate excellent oral and written competencies and interpersonal skills. They should have teaching experience within higher education or an education role and a minimum of a Master’s degree or PhD for AC4 appointment with a relevant existing or developing research profile. Registration with relevant regulatory bodies is essential (e.g. NMC, HCPC).
