The Post
We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic lecturer who has teaching experience in human physiology and molecular exercise physiology, with research and supervision experience in areas such as molecular biology of skeletal muscle growth/atrophy, and/or molecular physiology linked to nutrition or physical activity interventions. The successful applicant will work with existing Faculty groups to deliver excellence in teaching to our BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science programme. They will help build on our success in research and contribute to delivery of the University's strategic plan. The post available is on a Teaching and Research (T&R) basis.
The successful candidate will have relevant subject knowledge and expertise and a PhD in a relevant discipline. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a proven track record in teaching and research and are expected to undertake research activity leading to funding proposals and high-quality research outputs. A recognised teaching qualification is desirable.
