The Post
We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic nurse or allied health professional who has teaching and research experience. They will contribute to our BSc Nursing, BSc Professional Practice, BSc Paramedic Sciences and Postgraduate Programmes and help build on our success to deliver the University’s strategic plan.
The successful candidate will possess clinical and teaching experience, have an active registration with either the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and ideally a recognised teaching qualification.
Applicants are expected to demonstrate a proven track record in clinical leadership, policy and staff development. Experience of supervising, supporting and assessing students is also required. The successful applicant will work with existing Faculty groups to deliver excellence in teaching to all our Programmes. They will also be expected to undertake research activity leading to funding proposals and high-quality outputs.
Ideally the candidate will have a PhD (or be near completion of PhD) and experience supervising at Clinical Doctorate/PhD level. They will also have an established track record of high quality published research.
