About the role
As a Teaching Fellow in Business and the Space Economy within the School of Business, you will join a community of interdisciplinary scholars. This role provides the opportunity to develop a brand new module for our undergraduate programmes spanning the topics of international business, the space economy, innovation, space tourism and the commercialisation of space.
The role will involve the design, development and delivery of a module on the space economy. Responsibilities will include the proactive identification and development of relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as Space Park Leicester, The European Space Agency and Satellite Applications Catapult. You will undertake seminar, tutorial and workshop teaching in addition to other activities to enhance the development and reputation of the business school. Using a variety of methods, you will undertake teaching, pastoral care, and marking and assessment.
About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic, collegial individual who is motivated by providing the best experience for our students. You will have (or be near completion of) a PhD in a relevant subject whilst having experience of teaching in a relevant area of international business, marketing and/or innovation and be able to demonstrate an ability to develop relevant, high quality course materials in a timely fashion.
