The German Section of the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics at the University of Cambridge is seeking to appoint a Temporary Language Teaching Associate specialising in the teaching of German language and the German-speaking societies and cultures. The position start date would be 1 February 2023.
The successful candidate will be a suitably qualified native or near-native speaker of German with an excellent command of English. The candidate will have experience of teaching German in a Higher Education context and a recognised qualification in teaching German as a foreign language or engagement in professional development in German language teaching.
The appointee will be committed to outreach and widening participation and will have excellent communicative skills. They will have an active interest in the best ways of delivering language teaching at University level.
