Applications are invited for this permanent, full-time technician post working within the College of Environmental Sciences and Electronic Engineering.
Duties will include providing technical support within the College with a particular focus on support for the teaching laboratories and associated facilities in the School of Natural Sciences.
Candidates should be educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) with at least one GSCE in a science subject. Applicants should have previous experience of working in a busy laboratory environment. We are seeking applicants that are equally comfortable working as part as a team and on their own initiative, with the awareness to seek guidance when required.
The role will require the successful applicant to be active for the greater part of the day with some element of manual handling.
Candidates must be organised, have an enthusiastic proactive attitude with good communication skills. Previous experience of working in a laboratory is essential for the role.

The position is available with an immediate start date, the successful candidate will be expected to commence no later than 14th February 2023.
The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.
This role will be located on campus at Bangor.
