This post is full time (35 hours per week) and offered on an open ended basis.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Resource and Planning Manager to work within the Adam Smith Business School.
The postholder will work in partnership with senior academic and professional services colleagues across the School, College and University to enable an effective administrative service by leading and coordinating the management and administration of activities supporting teaching planning and delivery across the school.
In addition, the postholder will work in partnership with stakeholders to effectively implement key operational activities related to the management and coordination of the delivery of teaching, through the school’s workforce planning cycle, including academic workload management, Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTA) recruitment, resource management and support, and engagement and management of adjuncts/casual staff members.
Furthermore, the postholder will support the delivery of the school’s strategic objectives and aligned with the University’s Change programme, adopt a data-driven approach to evaluate and improve processes to enhance the experience for both students and staff.
The role reports directly to the Student Operations Manager.
