The role
This position will design, build, administer and maintain these core network services so that users have efficient, accurate and secure access to network resources and the internet. Installing upgrading and patching of all supported network devices on core IT infrastructure.
What will you be doing?
Provide strategic analysis and resolution of technical queries relating to the core network services. Analysis of complex technical problems. The design, development, and implementation of solutions to these problems, and daily troubleshooting of a wide range of network services and related issues.
Develop and adhere to standards, methodologies, and good practices. This includes the development of complex documentation for network installation, configuration, and support procedures, such that others may either assist or take over the maintenance, administration and/or operational support of the system.
Work alongside the IT Services Governance team to ensure all network services standards are fully agreed through the correct Governance channels.
Act as a main technical contact for all projects and programmes which require network services to be provided, to ensure these projects adhere to agreed standards
