The key focus of the role is to:
Working with the senior management team you will be assisting the business to improve current practices and identify growth opportunities linked directly to the R&D function. The role will work with colleagues from across the business and requires someone with excellent interpersonal skills capable of understanding the differing needs of stakeholders as well as providing positive influences to drive appropriate change.
As this role is part of the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) scheme, you will be supported by academic experts from Leeds Beckett University and the University of Leeds. There is a personal development package available, and the successful candidate will be part of an extensive management training programme. This role is directly aligned to a second position which relates to the same KTP funded project, this role has been recruited to and due to start in February/March 2022, so we are looking for someone who is able to start work around a similar timeframe.
For this role we are looking for a candidate with experience of project lifecycle management. A Bachelor’s degree (2.1 or higher) in one of the following areas is essential to the role; Strategic Business Management, Project Management or an Engineer who has experience within the subjects preferably with a post-graduate qualification e.g., Associate of Project Managers. The ideal candidate will also have experience of working to deliver complex KPIs and be able to research, evaluate and develop long-term sustainable options and frameworks.
This is an exciting role for an experienced project manager who is able to optimise processes and bring their own knowledge to facilitate the ongoing expansion and growth of the business.
