About the role:

The College is seeking to recruit well-qualified and experienced practitioners for possible immediate start and for future delivery on new adult programmes in Community Interpreting on Friday mornings or Thursday evenings with flexibility on the day of the evening programme.

The School of Skills for Life is one of the largest in the college, with over 4,500 students on a range of programmes and we are seeking to expand the scope of school to include Community Interpreting from Level 1 to Level 2.

Delivery could include evenings hours and off-site or online provision.

About you:

You should be professionally experienced in a range of Community Interpreting settings and have detailed knowledge that you can successfully share with learners through best practice teaching and learning. You should hold a teaching qualification and have experience of supporting or preparing learners for external assessments with a recognised awarding body, preferably Ascentis.
