Assistant Management Accountant

The Finance department is looking for a proactive and committed individual to join the Business Partnering / Management Accounts team as an Assistant Management Accountant. The purpose of the role is to provide support to the Finance Manager (Business Partner).

This is a varied role which requires attention to detail with the ability to challenge, whilst also having an ability and desire to provide an excellent customer service via strong communication skills. 

• You will help support the Finance Manager (Business Partner), to provide a constructive and challenging finance business partnering service

• You will support budget holders in achieving their strategic objectives

• You will also be responsible in preparing information and analysis for the Annual budgets and financial planning

• You will be responsible in preparing year end accounts and statutory information

You must be AAT qualified and actively studying towards an accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA). You will have strong IT skills and an excellent working knowledge of MS applications including Excel and Teams.

You will be highly numerate with excellent attention to detail and an ability to understand and interpret financial and non-financial information from a variety and sources. You will possess excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and will couple this with a desire and ability to partner with colleagues (both finance and non-finance).
