An exciting opportunity to work with a leading software development and sustainability company on an ambitious and innovative 30-month project developing new ideas, methodologies and technologies to support a transformation in the construction industry.
The 55 Group (which includes Pagabo, Sypro, Loop & Tequ) has a corporate vision to become the leading provider of platforms and services to the construction industry in terms of Social Value and related Environmental, Sustainability, Social and corporate Governance (ESG) aspects.
This KTP project will develop a suite of “digital first” software tools, databases and services to guide and support the UK construction sector in achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
This project is a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) - part of a national, Government-supported initiative, which provides graduates with fast-track career opportunities through work on challenging technical & IT projects (for more information please visit https://www.ktp-uk.org).
The KTP project will be fully supported with expertise from the University of Hull and The 55 Group.
You will be supported to continue your personal and professional development throughout the project, acquiring new transferable skills that will enhance your employability; a £4000 budget is available to support this training. The project offers the potential to undertake a higher degree (although this is not a requirement of the post).
For the right candidate there are excellent prospects for obtaining permanent employment with The 55 Group at the end of the KTP project.
We are looking for a candidate who has an honours degree (preferably at the 2:1 level or above) - and potentially a Masters qualification or a doctorate - in a relevant subject, such as Computer Science, Environmental Studies or Engineering. As well as this, you will need:
Salary: £25,000 annum plus a personal development budget of up to £4,000.
Candidates are requested to upload a CV and covering letter.
