About the Role
The post-holder will be working on the SIZOMUS and CladB clinical trial analysis in the MS group at the Blizard Institute. They will be involved in sample processing and analysis and will be expected to have some familiarity with in vitro techniques such as cell culture, FACS and immunoassays. The post-holder will be expected to support other members of the group in their work, including planning and executing experiments.
About You
The successful candidate will have previous experience and exposure to standard laboratory techniques, such as preparations of buffer solutions and preparations of antibody solutions. They will have good previous experience in biochemical assays use and development, including ELISA or Western Blot.

The Blizard Institute was established in 2003 and is one of six Institutes within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, QMUL. The Institute comprises approximately 350 staff based in four academic Centres and one Public Engagement Centre, and supports a combined total of c750 postgraduate research and taught students. The Institute aims to deliver excellence in all aspects of research, teaching and clinical service.

The post is based at the Whitechapel Campus in London. It is part time (17.5 hours per week), 12 month fixed term appointment, with an expected start date of January 2023. The starting salary will be Grade 3, in the range of £29,642 - £36,348 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
