Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research associate position for 18 months to work with Dr Alison Parkin in the Department of Chemistry. The project is associated with an ERC consolidator award funded by the UKRI Frontier Research Guarantee.

Role
The project will focus on developing a chemical biology toolkit and electrochemical methodologies to immobilise proteins on surfaces and unpick the mechanisms of electron transfer within complex biofuel-generating redox metalloenzymes. This appointment will suit a person with training in chemical synthesis, protein chemistry and electrochemistry. The position is tenable for a period of 18 months available from April 2023.
