The Intelligent Vehicles Research Group at WMG is dedicated to the development of research and technology in connected and autonomous vehicles (CAV). We are currently seeking an ambitious Project Engineer to contribute to several exciting research projects including the flagship European Union's Horizon 2020 Hi-Drive Project. The successful applicant will develop software to support projects related to cooperative autonomy. This will involve developing and integrating software on autonomous vehicle platforms and infrastructure communications and sensing nodes (edge computing). With a particular emphasis on on-road trials and demonstrations to showcase novel research concepts.
