Lecturer in Transport Planning and Engineering, The University of Salford

We wish to appoint a permanent Lecturer in Transport Planning & Engineering 

This post will foster further development of this important teaching and research area within the School, addressing topics aligned.

The purpose of this role is to:

  • Engage in scholarly activity and undertake high quality, impactful research and knowledge transfer, contributing to current and emerging research themes in the School and University.
  • Facilitate high-quality and engaging learning across a range of modules, programmes, and short courses, on campus and online, deploying strategies that maximise student engagement, attainment, and progression.
  • Contribute to the planning, design and development of new programmes and learning materials, and the review, refresh and enhancement of existing provision.

Ideally, we hope you will have a first degree in a relevant, related subject, and either hold or have submitted for examination a PhD. 

You’ll also share our passion for high quality research-led teaching and be able to contribute to the delivery of core modules in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the subject area, as well as more broadly across the School.
