Job description
Coventry University Group is a global education group with a mission of Creating Better Futures. Over two centuries, we have flourished in Coventry and now also deliver access to our range of high-quality education and services through bases in London, Scarborough, Belgium, Poland, Egypt, Dubai, Singapore, Africa and China.
We have a great story to tell and we are reshaping our Marketing and Communications teams to help us reach new audiences in fresh and engaging ways. Thanks to our innovative colleagues across the Group, there is plenty of great content to tap into and you’ll get to work in a creative and collaborative environment with some really talented people. Our main base is Ryton Gardens, a fresh, modern office just outside Coventry with large, landscaped gardens and free parking – but we have colleagues based in several of our locations and go where the work needs us to be.
Coventry University Group does not stand still – innovation is part of the DNA here – and we are always looking to improve everything we do. That means it will never get boring, you will always be challenged, but you will be supported by amazing colleagues as part of an organisation that is making a difference to people’s lives.
The Role
As the Group Portfolio Marketing Manager you will be responsible for translating insight into action to develop, shape, and implement a portfolio marketing strategy and corresponding marketing plans to generate maximum impact, driving awareness and reputation of the course and subject cluster portfolio across the Coventry University Group.
You will be responsible for a portfolio of courses and wider student facing propositions that form our overall offer, developing an expert understanding of the portfolio and course propositions, USPs, and key messages that will inform student recruitment activities.
You will provide professional advice and guide decision making on enhancements to the Group’s portfolio of courses and broader university Group offer and propositions. The role requires a data driven strategic and creative thinker, with a strong passion for education and the ability to collaborate with others to turn your analysis into operational and strategic portfolio marketing recommendations.
You will be working with key internal stakeholders to support the development of a clear data led portfolio marketing strategy and operational plan for each of the group’s constituent and future parts, where relevant.
