This role is 30 hours per week over 38 working weeks.
We are currently looking for a committed and driven individual to join our student and learning support team. You will work closely with colleagues to support the accurate and professional completion of core administration associated with the delivery of a first class curriculum experience.
This will include the tracking and recording of student absence; organisation of key meetings involving college staff, students and parents; supporting the organisation of core college events; working with other teams to support timetable changes; and provide a key point of contact for both internal and external customers to ensure information is received and acted on appropriately. In addition, you will also be involved in invigilating exams and assessments and collate information to support our Performance Monitoring Boards which track course progress and achievement. The production of letters to parents and other communications will also be required in collaboration with the Director of Student & Learning Support.
You will have previous experience in a busy administration role with previous experience of an educational environment being an added bonus although not essential. Candidates must be IT literate and understand the importance of attention to detail and accuracy. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to positively relate to people from all walks of life. You should be used to working with large amounts of data and have a flexible approach to you work to enable you to adapt to changing priorities.
You will have a minimum of a grade C in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent) and ideally a further level 3 qualification in Business Administration or Customer Service.
