The Faculty of Media and Communication at Bournemouth University is one of the largest of its kind in the world and has a global reputation for combining research and teaching practice. The Faculty has an enviable reputation for media production and has developed a popular and successful suite of programmes at both undergraduate and post graduate levels.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Demonstrator in Digital Imaging to join a dynamic and highly qualified team. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, a real interest in teaching and learning as well as a thorough knowledge of the key technologies and craft that underpin professional digital photography and videography.
Key to the role is the ability to teach the use of professional standard digital photography and videography equipment (studio and location camera and lighting) and digital still-image editing workflows and software. You will be able to teach students the underlying technical and craft principles of digital photography and videography and ideally bring professional experience to the role. We are looking for a self-motivated problem solver with a willingness to further develop their skills in line with the evolution of the field.
