We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Project Manager to start up and manage a new EPSRC Large Grant Award in Designing bio-instructive materials for translation-ready medical devices.
Based in the Boots Science Building on University Park you will work closely with the 12 academic staff involved in the grant at the University of Nottingham (Schools of Pharmacy, Life Science and the Faculty of Engineering) one partner at UCL and the international partners (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Eindhoven University of Technology La Trobe/Monash and Clemson). You will be coordinating and managing the work of the academic staff and postdocs to deliver on the grant outcomes.
With a good honours degree, or equivalent, you need to have a track record of successfully managing projects. Excellent communication and influencing skills are required to work with internal and external stakeholders. You must be able to work and deliver to meet targets and deadlines and have the ability to draft reports and stories drawing on a range of information.

This role is offered on a fixed term contract for 3 years, and the position is part time (21.75 hours over 3 days).
