Digital & Technology Services provide IT services and facilities for the University of Dundee across all campuses. The directorate is split into four delivery departments: Security Infrastructure & Research Computing, Business Services, End User Services and Directors Office. The directorate provides services ranging from the provision of the university core network & datacentres through to client devices and provision of corporate software systems.
We are recruiting for an exceptional individual to join us as a Product Engineer (Equipment Room) within our Network & Data Centre team and be responsible for the design and engineering of technical IT infrastructure within our datacentres. This is a permanent appointment.
Part of the Network & Datacentre team, and reporting to the Product Group Manager (Network & Datacentre), this role will have an important part in key relationships across the university. Working closely with out directorate members, you will also be expected to form close working relationships with academic schools to provide solutions and liaise with our Estates and Campus Services department in their implementation. This is a broad ranging role which will allow the successful candidate to utilise and develop a wide range of skills.
