Job Summary
The prestigious new Eric and Wendy Schmidt AI in Science Centre invites applications from experienced and enthusiastic individuals for the role of a Postdoc and Fellows Development Centre Consultant.
The Centre will fund up to twenty Postdoctoral Fellows at Imperial each year, over six years. The purpose of the Postdoc and Fellows Development Centre Consultant is to provide bespoke, tailored training and development support exclusively for Eric and Wendy Schmidt Fellows.
You will work with a high degree of autonomy to devise the development strategy and effect its implementation, whilst working closely with the Postdoc and Fellows Development Centre (PFDC) to provide specific training, cohort building, individual coaching, and bespoke personal development support for the Schmidt Fellows.
This includes the design, provision, facilitation, and evaluation of the programme of support and development, ensuring that all services are of the highest quality and relevance, and that they consistently meet the specific needs of the Eric and Wendy Schmidt AI in Science Centre and its Postdoctoral Fellows.

This is a part time (0.5 FTE) fixed-term 2-year role with opportunity to extend a further 4 years. It is in I-X in Imperial’s White City Campus.

The College is currently trialling a Work Location Framework until early 2023. Hybrid working may be considered for this role and the role holder may be expected to work 60% or more of their time onsite, with 40% the minimum time spent onsite.
