Join us as a key member of our SETsquared team within the Research and Innovation Services department. You will make an impact through leading, directing and managing part of the Events team to support a portfolio of Start up and Scale up events.
You will provide operational oversight, expertise and team management. Building on a 20-year track-record of high-quality event delivery, you will oversee a portfolio of three Programmes: Digital Business Acceleration Hub Programme (DBAH), the West of England Sustainable Technologies Scale-Up Programme; and the SME Competitiveness Programme. These are part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (the ‘ERDF Programmes).
Taking responsibility for the organisation, planning and management of our event support for ERDF Programmes you will be devising, reviewing and negotiating individual and sub-team workloads. Working collaboratively with the Senior Programme Manager you will develop and design upskilling programmes for start-up and early-stage enterprises; and acceleration support workshops for enterprises with growth prospects.
This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) fixed term basis with an expected end date of 30/06/2023.

SETsquared is the enterprise partnership of six research-intensive universities – Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, Southampton, and Surrey.
