Applications are invited for the post of Assistant Professor in the School of Geography.
We are seeking to appoint an academic to make a significant impact within the research and teaching area of Feminist, Economic and/or Political Geography.
The successful candidate will be expected to generate new intellectual understanding and to apply for external funding to enable development of independent research. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to teaching at all levels within the School, including the delivery of core undergraduate modules. A range of administrative duties to support the operation of the School will also be undertaken.
Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant subject area or equivalent extensive professional/research experience along with teaching experience. It is essential that applicants have a track record of high-quality published research.
Candidates should supply a CV, publication list, and a covering letter stating why they are suitable for the role. Details of teaching and administrative experience and the areas of their research expertise should also be included.
