JBS Executive Education Limited (JBSEEL) is part of the Cambridge Judge Business School (CJBS) and a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Cambridge. Executive Education provides world-class education programmes that deliver real world impact and comprise a portfolio of open programmes and a substantial suite of custom programmes, with formats of delivery that range from live-online to asynchronous online, and in-person.
We are currently in an exciting new era of growth and development at JBSEEL, ushered in by our new JBSEEL Director. Our strategy is focused on achieving Cambridge’s mission and impact in the world, as well as meeting increasing market demands for scaled, innovative, immersive and digital learning. We are increasing the scale and size of our clients, innovating in digital learning, growing our capability for the future, and enhancing our operating model and partnerships. We are growing rapidly and significantly in some of the Business School’s most important and meaningful areas of research, including Environment, Social and Governance (ESG), Strategy and Competitiveness and Alternative Finance.
To support our growth mandate and to build our next generation of Custom institutional clients, we are seeking to appoint an additional Client Director.
The Client Director will work with the Director of Custom Programmes and colleagues across JBSEEL and CJBS to expand our portfolio of strategic partners and corporate alliances. The role will focus on the identification of new market opportunities and developing and presenting proposals. They will advise on learning design and experiential learning, guiding clients through the pedagogical process. They will close sales and use professional project planning tools to maintain financial, relational, and delivery oversight of won business, in addition to identifying and developing opportunities for strategic partnerships and cross-selling.
Candidates will have a background in goal-oriented sales, demonstrable experience of consultative selling and significant experience of working directly with clients in a global context. Applicants should have a developed and sophisticated understanding of business planning, cross cultural sensitivity, and the ability to adapt quickly and flexibly to changing situations. With formal project planning skills, they will be confident in proposal writing, negotiating agreements and able to quickly establish credibility with senior executives, faculty and participants.
This is a full-time, permanent role. We offer a competitive salary and bonus package along with generous annual leave. Flexible working arrangements such as working a proportion of time from home are available.
