The Politics and International Relations Subject Group at the University of Hertforshire are looking to employ a skilled, passionate and experienced Visiting Lecturer to support the development and delivery of teaching provision on the BA in Politics and International Relations. The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of the field of International Relations research, particularly able to cover teaching on the Undergraduate modules in Peacebuilding and Statebulding and Security and Governance. Our Visiting Lecturers work as part of dynamic, collegiate and supportive team whilst being able to develop experiences in teaching, module development and assessment at postgraduate level. The candidate will benefit from a supportive and flexible environment and have to access to continuing professional development.

Skills/Qualifications Required:
We are seeking individuals with experience in teaching at undergraduate level, module and assessment design at undergraduate and/or post gradate level. Also experience in providing feedback, support and pastoral care to international students. A HEA Fellowship or willingness to achieve the former through engaging with the University CPAD scheme for the appropriate category within an agreed timeframe is desirable.
