Your output will support state-of-the-art instrumentation for major international instrumentation projects for the European Space Agency, UK Research Councils and leading national and international customers.
You will produce and develop complex and novel toolpath strategies and programmes for component parts, to achieve the most exacting tolerances and dimensions in a modern environment on highly advanced machinery. Our equipment includes a flagship 5-axis KERN Micro HD, a KERN Pyramid Nano and KERN MMP CNC milling machines and complementary machines including a Hurco VM10u, DMG DMU50 and 3-axis CMX600v. You will play a crucial role in the precision manufacture of components, offering rapid turnaround support in the manufacture of critical spaceflight and ground-based hardware, meeting or exceeding our customers’ expectations on quality. You will be responsible for producing, proving, and adjusting CAM program files using HyperMill to achieve the required part geometries, often on small and complex components.
