At UCA, creativity and innovation are at the heart of what we do. Our legacy of educating eager and passionate artists, makers and thinkers runs back almost 160 years, and today we’re helping shape a global future that supports and nourishes talent worldwide.
Our campuses across Surrey and Kent are vibrant communities, each specialising in different areas of the creative industries. We are also home to a thriving research hub, with academic experts and fellows leading the way in research on sustainability, design, textiles, animation, history and culture, and more.
Are you ready to share your passion for creativity with the next generation of innovators? If so, we want to hear from you.
The University for the Creative Arts is offering a number of early career teaching opportunities for applicants with a PhD in a relevant subject (acquired within two years of the deadline for applications). We have opportunities across all of our schools and subject specialisms.
You will join the University at an exciting time of transformation and curriculum review. Teaching fellows will work within one of our schools and make a significant contribution to teaching and teaching-related administration on our undergraduate degree programmes in order to enhance the undergraduate student experience and make a positive impact on overall student satisfaction.
You will have a research specialism and emerging research profile in a subject which aligns with one of our programmes in creative arts, creative technology and business for the creative industries https://www.uca.ac.uk/study/courses/
Successful candidates will demonstrate evidence of their proficiency and aptitude to teach. We are continually looking to expand the global perspectives that inform our understanding of creativity and innovation in the creative industries, and as such seek a diverse range of applicants with vision and enthusiasm for their subject and a genuine commitment to the vital roles of teaching and research.
