We have an exciting opportunity in the School of Education for a Research Associate who will be based in the School of Education and iHuman (the interdisciplinary institute for the study of the human) to take a key role in supporting the delivery on a body of scholarship in relation to issues of equality, inclusion and diversity with a particular focus on disability. The Research Associate will work closely with Professor Rebecca Lawthom, the Head of the School of Education, on an identified body of writing and scholarship deliverable over a three year period. Collaborating with Professor Lawthom, you will identify and work on a number of theoretical and analytical outputs focused around (though not exclusively) on number of areas of research interest.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant subject, excellent knowledge and understanding of ethical procedures and GDPR, previous experience of writing and publishing academic articles along with experience with secondary data analysis (especially qualitative data analysis).
