The Department of Computer Science at Brunel University London is seeking to recruit Associate Lecturers in Computer Science who can make a significant contribution to educational provision within our successful and supportive department. The Department of Computer Science holds an Athena Swan Bronze award and is keen to further increase the proportion of women in the department.
Brunel’s Computer Science department offers undergraduate programmes in Computer Science and Business Computing and postgraduate taught programmes in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science & Analytics and Digital Service (UX) Design. Successful candidates will play a substantial role in the delivery of teaching across one or more of these programmes and provide specialist support for final-year projects and/or masters dissertations. They will also have the opportunity to develop their scholarship within our research-intensive environment and are normally expected to hold a PhD.
Brunel has a clearly defined career track for Educational Academics and this role offers potential for promotion to Lecturer (Education) on successful completion of the probationary period and subject to achievement of defined criteria. Other benefits of working at Brunel include:
