Location: Henry Moore Foundation, Perry Green, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire SG10 6EE - 30 miles north of London, between London and Cambridge
This is an excellent opportunity to work in an important management role in a leading arts organisation, within a friendly and team-focused culture.
After the Head of Department, the Senior Curator is the second most senior post in the Henry Moore Collections & Programmes team. The post-holder will oversee the care and presentation of the Foundation’s collection and archives at Perry Green and digitally; and lead research activities on Henry Moore.
Our ideal candidate will have a post-graduate qualification in history of art, museum studies or similar, plus min 5 years’ experience in a curatorial role in a museum/gallery, with 3 years as a line manager, and an in-depth knowledge of 20th century art, ideally with a good knowledge of sculpture and a strong interest in Henry Moore. DBS clearance will be required as this role will have Known Consignor status. We are happy to consider some homeworking in this role.
