The Scuola Superiore Meridionale (SSM) is seeking applications for 40 post-doctoral research fellowships in the following programs:

Fellows will be primarily carrying out research and will have access to all research facilities of the School. They will also be involved with delivering tutorial lectures and supervision activities for undergraduate and/or graduate students in the SSM for up to a maximum of 50 hours per year. The posts are tenable for one year in the first instance and can be renewed for another two years. The posts will not be renewed beyond the third year.
Application Deadline: 25th February 2023
Eligibility: Applicants must hold a PhD granted by no later than June 2023. They must also have an excellent command of English and possibly of a second or third language. They must present a research project on a subject relevant to the research program.
Salary and Benefits: The gross salary will be €35,000 per year. Each Fellow will also receive an annual research fund of circa €3,000.
Tenure: The Fellowship program begins in spring 2023 and can be renewed up to April 31, 2026
Location: Naples (Italy). Fellowships require residency for the duration of the tenure.
