The University of Worcester BA (Hons) Illustration course is seeking to expand their current pool of Associate Lecturers to contribute to teaching.
We particularly welcome candidates with an ability to work across analogue and/or digital formats and a sound knowledge of professional illustration practice.
Areas of practice we wish to appoint to include:
You must have strong communication skills, be able to motivate students and be confident in a workshop environment, giving lectures and seminars. You will have a good undergraduate degree within Illustration or related area.
Applicants with an ongoing professional practice and detailed knowledge of contemporary developments within Illustration are encouraged to apply.
Applicants should have experience in teaching illustration and design at college/degree level and an ability to teach students, from the perspective of their individual, emerging practices and to support their progress through, for example, web-online teaching environment, seminars, group crit’s, feedback, assessment and group projects. It is an expectation that applicants will also be engaged in the role of theory and criticality in the development of practice.
