The Technical Supervisor for Manufacturing and Modelling will undertake the design, development, manufacture, fabrication and maintenance of a wide range of equipment, produced from a variety of materials (metals, plastics and wood) in support of research, teaching, and enterprise work.

A primary role will also be the setting up of workshop facilities for architectural modelling. The post holder will also support, teach and assess practical modelling for architecture in the workshop & studio environment.

The post requires a highly motivated, individual, with significant practical engineering workshop experience. You will also have the ability to supervise technical staff, provide Engineering Machine Shop technical instruction, supervision and skilled mechanical technical support to: students, researchers, academic staff and technical staff.
