This full-time post is immediately available until 31 August 2023 in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, Psychology (Psychology / Mood Disorders Centre), based at the Streatham campus.

The post

The College wishes to recruit a Postdoctoral Research Fellow as maternity cover to participate in our project focused on improving university student mental health. This UKRI funded post is immediately available until 31 August 2023. The successful applicant will support the delivery of the research project through liaison, working with and supporting students to support the planning of the research, the development of the content for questionnaires, courses and interventions, the development of engagement campaigns to involve students in the longitudinal survey and studies, and the dissemination of our findings.  

About you

The successful applicant will be able to develop research objectives, projects and proposals; identify sources of research funding and contribute to the process of securing funds and make presentations at conferences and other events.

Applicants will possess a relevant PhD or equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study. The successful applicant will be a nationally recognised authority in psychology or equivalent disciplines and possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to develop research programmes and methodologies. The successful applicant will also be able to work collaboratively, supervise the work of others and act as team leader as required. Applicants will be able to effectively conduct public and lived experience engagement and associated qualitative research.
