We are seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Hydrogen Powered, Sustainable Aviation Systems to join the Sustainable Aviation Group at the Department of Engineering Science, Oxford Thermofluids Institute. The post is funded for a 3-year fixed-term.
You will be actively involved in the developing and running of experimental facilities investigating hydrogen as a potential fuel for aviation propulsion systems. Concurrently, the researcher will be developing lower order analytical models and performing high fidelity computational simulations to corroborate experimental findings and propose other configurations not experimental investigated.
You should possess a PhD or DPhil (or be near completion of) in the field of engineering, physics or applied mathematics together with relevant experience in the field of thermofluids. You should also have excellent communication skills, including the ability to write for publication.
