Job Summary
The International Development Department (IDD), in the School of Government, is looking to recruit a Teaching Fellow in Development Cooperation for a fixed term until 31st August 2023.
Main Responsibilities
IDD provides postgraduate and undergraduate training in international development and public administration, on-campus and via distance learning. The Teaching Fellow would principally support the on-campus delivery of the BA International Development and Politics/BA International Relations and Development and MSc International Development. They will be expected to teach on 3-4 modules. This would include convening Understanding Development Assistance (2nd Year Undergraduate Module) and co-convening Development: The Environmental Challenge (3rd Year Undergraduate Module) and Environment, Sustainability and Development (MSc module), as well as to supervise MSc student dissertations. The successful applicant should demonstrate interest in and, potentially experience of relevance to, low- and middle-income countries.
