JOB OVERVIEW
Aberdeen International Study Centre (ISC) is based directly within the University of Aberdeen campus. You would be working in a culture of enhancing learning, teaching, and assessment through a developmental approach, which for you will mean autonomy, innovation, and development opportunities.
You will teach the STEM modules on our Undergraduate Foundation Programme. The ability to teach the geography modules is essential.
Specifically, you should be able to teach Human and Physical Geography systems and processes along economic, social, political, and cultural dimensions, including globalisation and urbanisation.
It would be advantageous if you can also teach e.g., Geology and/or Research Methods in Geosciences.
You will play a key role by contributing to the development of teaching materials and formative assessments. You will empower students to reach the level they need to progress into university by providing student-centred, engaging, and innovative learning.
