Applications are sought for a Chair in Construction Materials in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Manchester, co-sponsored by Nationwide Engineering Ltd. This position is associated with the strategic goal of the Faculty of Science and Engineering to build on our internationally leading activities in advanced materials and sustainability. This is part of an ambitious programme at the University to develop disruptive solutions to pressing industrial and global challenges. While there are particular interests in development of graphene and nano-material enhanced cementitious materials, these are not exclusive and other relevant areas of expertise are also of interest. This position will sit within the Faculty with strong links to the Henry Royce Institute.
Salary and a competitive start-up package are by negotiation, with scope to fully recognise applicants of the very highest standing. This post is advertised as full-time, but part-time or flexible appointment may be considered.
