We have an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for the world of Engineering to join the AMRC as a Senior Project Manager. We are looking for someone with extensive experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the field of Research and Innovation to add to our team.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be part of projects and programmes that range in scale and duration, but will all focus on developing and demonstrating robust and world-leading methods of manufacture that will be taken from the shop floor and embedded into an industry partner site. You will be supporting an integrated project team, built specifically to meet the requirements of the project/programmes you are working to deliver. You will be in an environment where you will be required to use your creative thinking skills, combining the development of research and technology theories and applied manufacturing solutions in a non-production environment. As a Senior Project Manager, you will also need to demonstrate a high level of capability, facilitating low risk transition of these solutions into our industrial partners’ production facilities.

About the Team
The environment is a busy and structured workplace. The project technical team have some of the most difficult engineering problems pass through our teams at the AMRC and engineering teams work in a focused manner to propose potential solutions with varied partners.
You will be supporting an integrated project team, built specifically to meet the requirements of the project you are working to deliver. This will be in an environment that nurtures creative thinking, combining the development of research and technology theories and applied manufacturing solutions in a non-production environment. However, many projects will require solutions that demonstrate a high level of capability, facilitating low risk transition of these solutions into our industrial partners’ production facilities.
