The CPRD Senior Researcher role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the UK Government’s premier data-driven research service and will apply their epidemiological, statistical and leadership expertise to a range of studies to develop and deliver CPRD research services.
The successful candidate will lead commissioned research; characterising, validating, and integrating new sources of data; developing methodologies and algorithms to add value to the data. You will be exposed to novel methods for integrating observational and real-world interventional studies and developing technical solutions for research. You will also have people management responsibilities within this role.
You will have a PhD, or equivalent experience, in epidemiology, medical statistics, or a related discipline and will have a track record in publishing epidemiological research analysing large electronic health records databases. You will have excellent organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage and deliver multiple projects on time and to budget.
You will also be a good team player, working closely with colleagues to deliver organisational objectives. Self-motivated, with a strong sense of personal accountability, ensuring tasks, projects and issues are appropriately dealt with to their successful delivery or conclusion.
