Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Trial Facilitator to join Imperial College London’s Research Governance and Integrity Team (RGIT)). You will be based at St Mary’s Hospital, London.
You will report directly to the RGIT Clinical Trials Manager, and work with them to provide administrative and operational support, in partnership with other members of the RGIT, to ensure that Clinical trials of Investigational Medicinal Products (CTIMPs) and other research are managed in line with the sponsorship requirements and regulation. You will be the first point of contact for researchers requiring clinical trials support. You will act as a liaison between the organization and its partners and collaborators in NHS Trusts, Charities, Research Councils, pharmaceutical and other industrial partners to facilitate the review, set-up and co-ordination of CTIMPs and other type of studies.
You will have a role in developing and supporting the research governance systems required throughout the organization. You will also help with preparation of MHRA inspections as required by the Clinical Trials Manager and engage in training and the Sponsor’s audit provisions as necessary.

You will assist in the administration of all Clinical trials of Investigational Medicinal Products (CTIMPs) sponsored through the Research Governance and Integrity Team (RGIT). This will involve liaison with the RGIT Clinical Trials Manager to ensure accurate review and authorisation and interpretation (where applicable) of contracts, funding proposals and grants. You will ensure initial project submission, monitoring and ongoing amendments are submitted to quality and regulation.

The College is currently trialling a Work Location Framework until early 2023. Hybrid working may be considered for this role and the role holder may be expected to work 60% or more of their time onsite, with 40% the minimum time spent onsite. The opportunity for hybrid working will be discussed at interview.
