The salary for the post is on a scale from £19,175 - £21,165 per annum (in 2022-23 terms, reviewed annually), depending on qualifications and experience, and membership of USS is offered. The lecturer may take a certain number of lunches and dinners free of charge during weeks 0 to 9 of each term. A research allowance and teaching book allowance are also offered, as well as access to a teaching room.
Jesus College, Oxford invites applications for a fixed-term eight-hour Stipendiary Lecturership in Law from 1 October 2023 until 30 September 2024. The successful candidate will provide College tutorials Constitutional Law and Administrative Law. In addition, the lecturer will be expected to set and mark College examinations, to participate in the routine administration of Law, including undergraduate Admissions, and to assist in the pastoral care of undergraduates reading the subject.
Candidates should have a strong educational background, a master’s degree in Law or progress on a research degree in law (desirable). Some teaching experience would be an advantage.
