The School of Geography at the University of Nottingham is committed to being a globally leading centre for the creation, dissemination, and application of geographical knowledge and understanding. As part of this commitment, the School is delighted to invite applications for a fixed term Teaching Associate (Physical Geography) post based on University Park Campus.
Applications are particularly welcome from those with an interest in quantitative methods and biogeography. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a range of modules and tutorials in the area of Physical Geography. Candidates should have, or be demonstrably close to submitting, a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area, or the equivalent in professional qualifications and experience.
The role holder will be involved in the development of new teaching and assessment practices and/or developing systematic methods for evaluating and disseminating these practices within the School.
This full time (36.25 hour) role is available from April 2023 until 31st August 2025. Job share arrangements may be considered.
