The Data Governance and Security team develops, maintains, and supports system and process security, data governance, data protection compliance, regulatory reporting, and external and internal audit requirements. We are part of the Students & Education Directorate, a collection of wide-ranging professional services in place to support King’s students and their education.
The Head of Student Data Reporting is a key role focussed on delivering internal insight and analysis reports and supporting our statutory reporting requirements. They will lead and manage a team that ensures we are able to meet our internal reporting requirements and that supports the needs of the senior team, and wider Directorate, for effective and accessible reporting on student data and course information across a wide range of business and operational workstreams.
The role holder will also be responsible for supporting on Freedom of Information requests, subject rights requests and external returns such as HESA/JISC Data Futures Returns. They will lead on building & improving business reporting processes.
The role holder will be expected to work with a high level of autonomy, providing leadership and support for their team and colleagues through specialist advice, technical data analysis and policy recommendations.
