WMG are seeking an experienced researcher with an excellent understanding of the modelling of battery packs as part of an overall system. This role exists to define the approach of battery systems modelling across the multiple domains, length scales and time scales required to be able to model a complete battery system to answer real world industrial concept questions. The successful candidate will have significant experience in using a range of battery modelling packages (such as Matlab/Simulink, COMSOL, Fluent, AMESim, Modelica, Python, Ansys, Star CCM+, Altair etc.) together with excellent battery pack multi-physics modelling capabilities from problem definition through model concept to validation.
