QA Degree Apprenticeships
Mostly HOMEBASED, London or Bristol or Birmingham or Manchester or Leeds or Newcastle or Glasgow with very occasional travel
Are you a Senior Lecturer in Computing with Programme Leader experience OR perhaps currently an Associate Dean looking for a new challenge with work-based learners in industry and many working with FTSE 250 leading organisations.
As Associate Dean you will manage the University Partnership and provide leadership and management for computing programmes, including QA’s BSc Digital and Technology Solutions and BSc Cyber Security Technical Professional degree apprenticeship programme with our University partners. This includes support for an ongoing degree apprenticeship digitisation project, helping to shape the future of degree apprenticeship provision within QA. You will also be responsible for engaging with the degree/higher apprenticeship landscape to support the development of programmes that meet both academic and apprenticeship requirements.
As line manager for a team of approximately 8, including Programme Leaders/Head of Levels/Lecturers, you will have the ability to demonstrate vision, and empower all within the team to deliver the agreed strategy.
Good news, you’ll still be involved with a small amount of teaching so you won’t miss out on student contact.
Our programmes cover a broad range of computing specialisms, so there will be opportunities for you to utilise your subject matter expertise.
