Role to start September 2023.
The Department of Economics is looking to appoint a Research Fellow with a strong academic background in any field of Economics. The individual will undertake research in order to contribute to and support the work of the Department of Economics at Warwick.
The appointed person will perform tasks including scoping the literature, developing some modelling and methodological tools, downloading or web scraping data, preparing data, conduct in quantitative analysis, preparing presentations, delivering impact and assisting with administrative tasks.
The role is not aligned to a particular area of research and we welcome applications from any research field within the economics discipline.
To strengthen the applicants teaching profile, where possible, the successful applicant will be afforded the opportunity to apply for temporary teaching in the Department of Economics.
The Department provides a lively teaching and research environment and has recently been ranked 2nd in the Research Excellence Framework (2022).
