The London School of Economics is a cosmopolitan university situated in the vibrant centre of London that specialises in the study of social sciences.

Data and Technology Services has, as the change part of its mission, responsibility for delivery of the technology components of LSE Strategy 2030, the School's comprehensive approach to continuing development of and investment in Student, Staff and Research. To enable DTS to formulate a technology strategy the division is building a strong operational core, which is defined as Shared Platforms, Shared Infrastructure, Shared Data and Shared Process all wrapped into Excellent Customer Services.

The M365 Product Specialist will be responsible for managing a range of M365 products, and working closely with stakeholders to scope, document and deliver requirements and provide support, training, and guidance on the M365 products.

Key tasks will include:

  • Translating business requirements as described in user stories into working solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Leading design and development of solutions to automate business processes using Power Automate
  • Communicating and translating process automation requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Engaging across the business to understand user and business requirements and application software development needs
  • Undertaking regular audit of platform processes and artefacts and making /executing recommendations for improvement

Candidates should have:

  • Experience developing new PowerApps model and canvas driven apps as well as enhancing existing apps, including the use of Dataverse as a data source.
  • Extensive experience in the Microsoft Power Platform development, e.g. PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI and SharePoint
  • Understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods.
  • Experience of automating business processes with Microsoft Power Automate and AI tools.
  • Ability to create custom connectors for Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Experience with API or Rest services integrations.
  • Experience of Microsoft enterprise cloud technologies such as Office 365 and Microsoft Azure.
  • Providing Power BI reports and dashboards development and support.
