The Department of Biology is looking for an experienced Data and IT Specialist to support an international multi-site study on understanding the impact of COVID-19 on bacterial sepsis, antibiotic consumption and stewardship, and antimicrobial resistance, funded by the Wellcome Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with Prof Timothy Walsh and Dr Refath Farzana, and play a role in dealing with IT technical issues to support a group of researchers.
The successful candidate will already have the professional experience to work in IT departments of universities and higher education and will be familiar with installing and upgrading system components, setting up software and resolving IT and hardware/software issues .
